We recommend using a cooking thermometer. Sausage should always be cooked thoroughly to an internal temperature of at least 165° F. Sausage should be cooked from a thawed state. Always use tongs when handling sausage links.
Griddle/Pan Frying: Links and Patties
Preheat grill to 325 – 350 degrees F, or heat frying pan at medium heat. Place sausage directly on griddle or frying pan. Cook for approximately 8 minutes. Turn sausage often to brown thoroughly. Cook longer if necessary to fully cook to 165 degrees F.
Skillet/Pan Frying: Bulk/Ground and Roll/Chub Style
Heat large skillet over medium high heat, add thawed sausages. Cook and crumble sausage until no longer pink and it is cooked thoroughly (about 8 to 10 minutes or longer if necessary to fully cook and brown); or, if roll style pork sausage, you can slice or form into thin patties and cook per above instructions; drain off grease.
