We seek to hire a full-time Worker’s Compensation Claims Coordinator to provide proactive and aggressive claims management. The Worker’s Compensation Claims Coordinator will perform the following:
- Directly handle & manage all aspects of Worker’s Compensation claims & strategic planning within a large/shared multi-million-dollar Group Captive Insurance Program.
- Partner with the third-party administrator, legal team, nurse case management, and surveillance team to monitor and manage WC claims and losses aggressively.
- Direct interaction and communication with personnel and leadership at all levels of the organization, discussing all matters pertaining to claims and processes.
- Maintain database and record keeping while utilizing data to establish and track metrics and ensure regulatory compliance.

The Quality Control Technician position is responsible for all internal audits related to quality assurance in compliance with standards dictated by the USDA department and internal policies. The position helps oversee the quality control team for the Womelsdorf plant.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Conduct internal and periodic audits to assess the position of preparedness of the company’s products for annual audits and day-to-day operations.
- Be involved in the follow-up of non-conformities in internal and external audits as well as assisting USDA relations in regulatory matters.
- Calibrate all necessary instruments at a specific frequency and is required to administer an accurate food system that is effective and accurate.
- Follow up on pending corrective and preventive action requests both the FSIS audit and inspections.
- Conduct regular GMP and food safety training to ensure that food safety systems are effective.
- Conduct regular product reviews to ensure product quality is acceptable.
- Perform a daily document control task to ensure secure and traceable documents.
- Perform pre-operation inspection of the shop before operations and with coordination of the USDA inspection and completing the necessary paperwork.
- Perform periodic shelf-life tests for verification of audit dates and packaging.
- Assist the management team and provide quality assurance assistance as needed.
- Preparation of the organization for the annual ISO 22000 audit at the Stevens plant.

JOB FUNCTIONS
Mechanical truck / trailer repairs to include;
- Tractors, trailers, straight truck
- Reefer units
- Performs preventive maintenance on all equipment.
- Run diagnostic tests for routine maintenance
- Repair malfunctioning components, retrofit engines, change brakes, adjust steering systems, replace worn-out parts and change hydraulic fluids
- Use computerized diagnostic equipment
- Knowledge of welding torches and welding
- Test drive trucks before and after repairs

REQUIREMENTS

At our Stevens location, just north of Ephrata, we are looking for a First-Shift Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience with both plant equipment and material handling equipment.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Maintaining a work-life balance with a 40-to-50-hour workweek, including few Saturdays and no Sunday work. Competitive wages based on experience.
- Being part of a cross-functional team, working with manufacturing and warehouse associates to improve equipment availability and performance.
- Completing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair tasks.
- Working on both plant and material handling equipment.
- Handling mechanical and electrical systems.
