COOKING INSTRUCTIONS:

We recommend using a cooking thermometer. Sausage should always be cooked thoroughly to an internal temperature of at least 165° F. Sausage should be cooked from a thawed state. Always use tongs when handling sausage links.

Skillet/Pan Frying:
Place sausage links in a pan at medium heat. Add ¼ to ½ cup of water. Cover and simmer for 10 to 12 minutes. Remove cover and brown evenly, turning links occasionally, for another 8 to 12 minutes. Cook longer if necessary to fully cook and brown. Lower heat if they are browning too quickly.

Grilling/Gas or Charcoal Grill:
Pre-heat grills to medium heat (charcoal should be coated with a white ash with a little red showing). Put links on grill 6 to 10 inches above burners or charcoal. About every 5 minutes, turn links over with tongs. Continue cooking for 25 to 35 minutes until evenly browned and fully cooked. Move links further away from heat source if they are browning too quickly. Keep grill lid closed as much as possible to help speed up cooking and reduce possible flare-ups.
